Sureela Inc, San Francisco Bay Area, California, is responsible for everything described here. Write to hello@usesureela.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
To make and deliver the song you ordered, and to email you about it. That is the only reason we hold any of it. Where the information concerns other people in your photograph, we rely on your confirmation that you have their permission, which is why we ask you to confirm it before you can place an order.
Your photo and the text of your brief are sent to Anthropic’s API to produce a written description of the scene and a draft lyric, which a person then edits. This is a processing step in making your song, not automated decision-making about you.
Stripe for payment, Supabase for database and file storage, Vercel for hosting, Resend for email, and Anthropic for the drafting step above. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Your photo is deleted [RETENTION PERIOD, suggested: 90 days] after delivery, or sooner if you ask. Your order record, brief and finished song are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD, suggested: 6 years] so we can honour revisions, re-send a lost file, and meet UK tax record-keeping obligations.
Photos and finished audio are stored in private buckets. They are never served from a public address: every link is signed and expires after one hour. Your order screen is reachable only through a long random link sent to your email.
This app sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Stripe sets cookies necessary for processing your payment at checkout. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to hello@usesureela.com and we will respond within thirty days. We will never charge you for asking, and we will never treat you differently for having asked. If you are in California, those rights are yours under the CCPA; we extend the same ones to everybody, wherever you live.
If someone appears in a photo sent to us and wants it removed, they can write to the same address. We will delete it, and we will not require them to have been the person who placed the order.
